Safety & certification

A safe crew is the only crew we send

We are dedicated to a safe and healthful environment for employees and customers, protecting the public, and preserving KSM assets.

Policy

Written, trained, and enforced — from the office to the right-of-way

Safety is not a sidebar at Keystone. It is how crews are staffed, how jobs are planned, and how we leave a site.

How we work

The program in practice

01

People first

Our most valuable resource is the people who work here. Injuries can be prevented. We make all reasonable efforts to comply with government regulations on safety and health.

02

A program, not a poster

An effective Safety and Health Program runs through the organization. It helps management and crews control hazards, which minimizes injuries and damage to client or company property.

03

Everyone owns it

All employees follow the program and are expected to promote the safety of fellow employees and customers. Members of management are responsible and accountable for implementing the policy.

04

Tools and training

KSM provides safe equipment, adequate tools and training, and necessary protective equipment. Employees follow the rules established for their protection and use the devices provided.

Certifications

OSHA 10 and SafeLandUSA

Keystone Surveying and Mapping holds certificates in the OSHA 10-hour Construction Training Course and SafeLandUSA, the standardized safety orientation for workers in the U.S. onshore E&P industry.
